The counterpoint is that in the same week I'll have had to spend hours at a pretentious art installation and sit through a college theatre production of Shrek The Musical. As a socially awkward physics geek who struggles with noise and bright lights.

To be clear: 1 - Trans rights shouldn't be ignored because of people's ignorance and bigotry 2 - Banning trans women in 'female spaces' means including trans men instead 3 - of every 100 women, 1 trans women will be affected and many more cis women who don't meet an arbitrary 'feminity' standard.

15k on trails in a fortnight, then consolidate before a half in July. The longer term plan is to get back to proper distances and do my first ultra next year.

…papers in the past 4 months alone demonstrating that over-reliance on "AI" tools diminishes critical thinking capacity & prevents students from building the kinds of foundational skills which allow them to learn more complex concepts, adapt to novel situations, & grow into experts. This is so bad.
