how much do you want to bet that this guy's worldview will be completely shattered when he finds out that all four of Pixar's founding fathers (including John Misconduct) were CalArts graduates?
and that two of the examples he cited in the thumbnail were from movies directed by non-CalArts alumni?

And if Mamdani loses, it will probably mislead Democrats into thinking that running progressives means a guaranteed loss.
And that is not something anyone wants.

overall, I liked this movie!
sorry if I'm not being all "blah blah blah Modern Pixar is mid, blah blah blah Indie Animation is the future of the industry, blah blah blah Turning Red killed my Grandma"
but I liked this movie

for context, if we were to discover an alien species that was sentient, they probably won't look like little green guys or humans with elf ears, makeup and/or things glued to their foreheads

One thing I absolutely have to give praise to is the alien designs.
not only are they incredibly creative, but they're also one of the most realistic depictions of Extraterrestrial Life in general

for starters, Elio himself is definitely on the Autism Spectrum, and speaking as someone who is also Autistic, it was neat seeing a neurodivergent main character in a Pixar movie
also Glordon is f**king adorable

You just know the Animation Community isn’t even going to bother promoting this movie either…
They’re probably just going to write it off as “mid” because it doesn’t look like Spider-Verse, and go on about how Indie Animation is somehow the future of the industry

Is this retweet evidence that Pixar is admitting that Lightyear might not be one of their best films? (I thought it was okay btw)

As much as I disliked a lot of what the remake did, I would have to agree.
Say whatever the f**k you want about this movie, but for the love of Thor, don’t give random people shit if they liked it.

in a perfect world, this and Lucy Gray Baird and The Seven Renaissance Gnomes would've been the final nail in the coffin for these Disney Live Action Remakes
if not, hopefully that unnecessary Moana remake will

also I know that what I'm about to say won't impact this movie's inevitable financial success off the IP alone, but I might as well say it:
don't watch the Lilo and Stitch remake
don't even hate watch it.
if you're really THAT curious to check it out, wait until it's out on Disney+

I swear to gods they better not be sequels
