The fact that Republicans joined to defeat this does not make me feel better knowing that the reason they defeated it is that they think the cuts to Medicaid and snap we're not big enough. What the hell?

Speaking of gifts, the $1,200 pen that he got after the signing (of whatever they agreed to) that pen alone violates the emoluments clause

If you need me, I will be on my way to the emergency room. I need to have my eyes unrolled.

Meanwhile, Mr President, why is it you never mention the two people who actually DID try to assassinate you?

That means we have to work to make sure we replace these retirees with amply qualified people, not cling to the ones trying to retire with a death grip

I don't have a subscription to nyt. I was referring in general to the assumption that anyone thinks it is not okay to pursue another career path besides college. It's like an assumption that people who work a trade are looking down upon, which I don't agree with.

I still have not figured out how to make a multi-post thread. But I have never put down trades people my father was one. My ex was one. But what I have seen is people putting down college graduates and the cost involved. A lot. I've seen that a lot. Sorry if I came up too harshly

I did not mean not to come across as testy as I did. But I have seen posts like, this particularly on the unnamed social media site, that are targeting negatively anybody who seeks to achieve College. Yes, we need trades people. Are there a shortage of them? Not when I go to look.

I don't know where you live, but these ads are all over my TV. This New York Times piece is parroting the anti-intellectualism that I've been seeing online for decades. There is absolutely nobody denigrating labor trades. We need them, but we also need educated people, too

It has never NOT been okay to choose another career path. When did the New York Times start the anti-intellectualism that we have seen rampant online for the last decade?
