Together these can very much be read as that though:
- the iPhone mini sold poorly
- the Xperia minis sold poorly
- the ASUS zenfones sold poorly
- every device maker gave up on making small phones
Manufactuers don't know how to make small phones people will buy in large quantities.

I fully agree with you in theory, but bot in practice. The docks end up being more expensive and clumsy than just buying a cheap laptop and cheap phone for most. Especially since the only phones that support dex are pretty expensive too

Randomly calculated the dollar amounts for 2019 as that's the year before the sanctions hit and Huawei was around 18bn, Apple around 16bn. Too lazy to do the math for other years, but you get the picture
