apple UI designer at WWDC25: "the motion of liquid is something we all have an intuitive feel for" me, inexplicably starting a mini tsunami just by lifting a glass of water up: "uuh, sure"

controversial opinion: that's actually good & you should stop idolizing the same few figures in the industry

I have many friends at both Hangar 13 and Stormind, and I've been waiting years for them to unveil this, this is so cool. So many faces and places I know in this video. Now I'm feeling homesick more than ever... youtu.be/amarmiKaV2w

"Others familiar with the project told me that EA executives were frustrated that the game had not yet left the pre-production phase after nearly four years in development". This is the real issue, I've seen this all over past 2020, letting a project run in pre-production for 4 years is not normal

ok I have a funny story about how stuff like this can happen and go unnoticed until release and why you should NEVER use art you don't own even as placeholder. During the development of Gears of War 4 someone added several Bob Ross' paintings as textures in the game, no one noticed for months... 1/3

Saw this during the Revision 2025 live stream and I couldn't believe it

Subtly nerdy home decorations, if you get these, we should be friends.

It's #randomgamesaturday so let me pick my entry. It's *drumrolls* Head Buster from the Sega Game Gear! This one's hard but really fun. Build your team of mechas and go bust some heads in many, many scenarios. It's by NCS and Masaya so you know the robots look cool

can't believe this game made me do this

I hope no one thought Claire Obscur was an indie game, you have to pay a 30+ person team somehow, it's still not cheap. This is not an indie endeavor, but to me it shows what I've been thinking for years: most AAA team are bloated, full of office politicians and incredibly inefficient

SO YOU'VE BEEN LAID OFF BY A VIDEO GAMES PUBLICATION (It's going to be okay! We've all been there!): Has your workplace been taken over by some sort of content farm fuckboi capitalist? It's time for a new career! A few thoughts from one who has been there many times over.

Creatures of the night, what beautiful sound they make
