Given how many kids were breakdancing to “Beat Box” and “Close (to the Edit)”, and “Moments in Love” being a Quiet Storm staple, I could kinda see how this could happen. Still hilarious af though.

In the 80s, I went to an elementary school that attempted to answer the question: “suppose we taught inner city kids via Socratic method and taught the Great Books?” complete with Mortimer Adler’s involvement. I suspect as fifth graders we engaged with the material deeper than the 4chan crowd.
