I think that they are concerned about how many other folks sent down outside of the rule of law could have their cases contested, but the darky hypothesis cannot be excluded.

The other question that I would have is what coordination is being contemplated amongst Ivy League schools. I heard that Columbia reached out for that level of support and did not get it.

Thanks for her bio, which I did not know & does tilt the case. To go Gramsci, this was not a time to go "fur ewig", & a war of position seems wiser than a war of maneuver. Groundtruthing is also a peacebuilding term and issue terrain a social network advocacy phrase, although I do get your take.

I assume that she knows the issue terrain, but probably has not yet "ground-truthed" her support with various constituencies of faculty, admin, & alumni. Part of the Columbia tragedy was that Mnouch did not have those relations in place and surrounded herself with a restricted # of advisors.
