With the snarling references to "transgender for everybody" and Democratic cities, it sounds like someone saw all the No Kings protests and spewed a flailing rage-post. If this was typed by Trump it would've been in all-caps.

Whenever my mom buys shampoo, my dad likes to recall how he used to just rub a bar of soap in his hair.

I used to have one that looked very similar! Now I have one of these (that I really need to practice on)

And we had square dancing because Ford was so terrified of Black people dancing to jazz that he promoted square dancing as a proper white person’s dance.

I think they’re using it because it really pisses Trump off. Reporters have asked Trump about it and he visibly lost his shit. Sometimes even something dumb is worthwhile if it needles him that badly.

It's very weird casting, honestly. He's a great actor, but definitely not top of mind for "grandfatherly, stately British wizard". It honestly could be that all of the better choices turned them down.

I'd press him on the lies he told during his confirmation hearing and hold him to the specific promises he continues to break.

It was actually in Covington KY, just across the river. It was vacant for many years after Jillian's closed, but reopened in 2019 as a county government office building.

Fond memories of the Cincinnati Jillian's. A massive five story former brewery converted into a restaurant, barcade, nightclub, and concert venue. A band I was in had a weekly residency there for months, playing to a half-dozen drunk party kids.

Great to see. I’ve only gotten to stand in the extended queue once, so many details there and in the waiting room. An all time favorite attraction, huge Muppet fan, so it’s very sad to see it go away.

That first image looks (at first) like a donut filled with that coconut/pecan frosting on a German chocolate cake.

Fantastic! I’ve heard how charismatic Andrew Wood was on stage. Such a loss.

I admit that as a kid, I wasn't quite sure whether "Daniel Pinkwater", "Manus Pinkwater", and "D. Manus Pinkwater" were the same person or oddball Pinkwater brothers.

Happy to see Lizard Music near the top. Victor's visit to the House of Memory is my favorite DMP moment from any of his books.
I wonder if his amazing potato & beer in Lower North Aufzoo counts as a transcendent moment for Walter Galt.

Ahh, memories of living in a 3rd floor apartment facing a bustling city block. Harley night was Tuesdays at the bar across the street. But every night was "folks standing outside the laundromat screaming" night
