As I’ve gotten older I’ve seen how selfish so many Americans are. If it doesn’t affect them directly they don’t care. As an example, funding Ukraine is a no brainer. It weakens Russia and holds them in check. But many think we shouldn’t spend any money outside the US. Naive and selfish fools.

Also, what exactly has this administration done for US citizens? It’s hurt them quite a bit. Trump broke his promise on inflation, he’s driving up unemployment. He’s made air travel less safe. He’s let an unelected prick and his young 20’s staff steal our personal data. And so much more.

Legislation is the best tool for accountability, but with the current state of things, we won’t see any protections there for at least the next 4 years. Our government is for sale to billionaires. The NRA was able to purchase our politicians & block legislation & healthcare has much deeper pockets.

I’m not disagreeing. Just pointing this out. After the BP spill, I wanted to punish BP. For years I went out of my way to avoid them. It made me feel better…like I was fighting the good fight, but I’m sure BP didn’t notice. It’s hard to hold companies accountable.
