More than 1 M jobs lost. For every $1 in SNAP spent we get about $3.50 back from all the jobs it creates from truckers, cashiers, farmers, etc. It's going to be a domino effect...Food stamps makes money. Jobs make tax revenue...Republicons are stupid!

They’re resurrecting Jack Hinson Politicians need to realize they will be blamed if SS and Medicare/Medicaid go down and their constituents are the most heavily armed populace in the world. Many people don’t know how government works but when people’s families die they’ll be looking to share

I don't think the student should be punished, but Peters ignores a political economy where students on campus are targeting university employees hoping of breaking into conservative media. Which completely worked in this case! Wrote about this a while back. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/how-the-hi...

This is a good example of how framing is a choice. The author, Jeremy Peters, frames the story around the protagonist, rather than the university employees he spammed with DOGE-style questions about what they did, and who he recommended should be fired based on crappy AI.

This is a lot of people that need to be voted out of office. I know what I'll be doing. I wonder what the Republican voters will be doing. And the non voters😳🤬

They're not even pretending to care about human life anymore. They're proudly standing behind legislation that will inevitably result in deaths among the poor, the disabled, and the elderly. It's abhorrent! #TrumpsBillWillKill
