I don't know, but I know one thing, I don't trust him. If he or you can show me the evidence of that claim I might belive it. He withdrew from RANZ and that makes me even more suspicious.

There's also this. bsky.app/profile/oldm... So it's not clear that the poll is even correct.

I see that as giving up, as in a us vs them type of scenario. Not helpful. I don't think they're as RW as you think.

No I think you'll find it's a snapshot in time and there is a lot of undecided. The fact there is a lot disappoint with the current govt. Regardless there are left wing voters in that poll, and that can grow.

I'm not sure you're completely right on that. Sure, traditionally farmers voted National, but I don't think it's that clear cut anymore. I know of a few left leaning farmers. Met a few of them too.

Glad there is an option. I avoided flights with layovers in the USA when travelling to and from New Zealand to and from London. That was even before Trump. I might have considered it to see some cousins I know live there, but I think I'll not bother now, especially with Trump.

As long as we don't have to go through the USA to get there.

I didn't think of that angle. Yes, with that in mind, I agree.

If I was one of his constituents I'd be replying with something like, "tell that to someone who cares about your excuses"

I was struggling to find the description of what they're doing in a single sentence. That is exactly what they're doing, IMO.

I hope she got the answer of, "someone who's not paid as much as a man".

I just don't get it. They're making an issue of nothing. Making a mountain out of a molehill

Quite a bit of a contrast with the 1News Verian poll. Just shows the next election is anyone's to win still

While I agree with the lack of evidence based policy, I don't think you can automatically attribute it to the Kings Birthday road toll. It's not obviously connected with the Nat policy. You need evidence, not correlation
