I pulled my retirement accounts out of the S&P500 funds that they were in, and doing awesome btw thanks Joe, into asset preservation funds on 🍊💩’s inauguration day. I paid attention in school and also to Ben Stein in “Fast Times” so I knew this was coming. This saved me hundreds of thousands of $$$$

Silly teen JDM boyz. I’ve always wondered. On a front wheel drive car, shouldn’t it have some sort of downforce device on the front wheels instead? I guess I can see it helping a FWD track car in cornering but that one surely doesn’t see a track or take corners fast enough to have an effect. 🤷♀️

I have a friend that has a Model S and has lifetime free supercharging. He has the stickers too but figures the free charging takes money out of fElons pocket. It’s not ideal but I get it.

My last go around was at DCA about a year and a half ago. Exact same scenario, cleared to land, tower pushed it way too close, I even called the tower controller on it. Went from being a few minutes early to 20 minutes late. When cleared to land the second time I asked “you sure this time?”

I said “REALLY?!?!? over the tower frequency as I knew we were going to be going around. Five seconds later we go around and get vectored for 20 minutes going from on time to late arrival, never catching up the rest of the day. 2nd approach after being cleared to land I asked tower “you sure?”

The last time I had to fly a go around was oddly enough at DCA for this same reason. I was pilot monitoring, meaning I was the one speaking to ATC, Captain was flying. As soon as tower cleared the other plane on our runway I called out the controller as I knew they wouldn’t be airborne in time.
