Exactly. People go around driving cars and riding in airplanes because they trust the experts who made them. Not everyone can be an expert on everything. The demonizing of expertise is dangerous.

I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to have women on my gaming podcast feed! Please go check out the MinnMax's all ladies podcast, Pew Pew Bang. They're all so goddamn talented and are guaranteed to make you laugh. 😊

The new episode of Pew Pew Bang is now live! The crew finds games at the intersection of fragging and friendship and Haley has some wise words to share for those mourning a relationship gone by. Watch here or listen on your podcast app of choice: youtu.be/_i27qAXe2-4

I'm so confident Pew Pew Bang could have like 5 million followers if the right people were exposed to it. Do you have people in your life who love games but hate listening to a bunch of dudes talk about them? Show them Pew Pew Bang!! It's the podcast that's also a slumber party!

Too true lol. Just let your eyes glaze over for the next 45 minutes and shift your weight from one leg to the other every 5 minutes.

Everyone has one Mitch Hedberg joke stashed in their brain like a squirrel to sustain them whenever they need to feel joy for 30 seconds and mine is “they say the recipe for Sprite is Lemon and Lime but I tried to make it at home, there’s more to it than that”

Rice is great when you're hungry and want to eat 2000 of something

In these dark times, it’s great to come together and find something we can all take joy in.

White sorority girls from Texas will be quoting Mao by the end of the month.

Man, this is a pretty fucking gross move from Amazon, huh? Good on @bookshop.org for not mincing words, though:

For indie Bookstore day, I have an email going out about books you can pick up online while supporting your favorite local book store. I compiled a list of books which have been important to the show, or if I interviewed the author. Throughout the day I'll post the books and talk about them

Breath of Fire IV is now available on PC via GOG as a part of the GOG Preservation Program with both English and Japanese localizations, improved graphics, restored environmental sounds, and more: www.rpgsite.net/news/17304-b...

Our grown up library got cleaned out while I was out of town (in an organic way, not like someone stole all the books). Books we could use right now: diverse adult titles, young kids books in Spanish. We have a PO box if any BlueSky authors want to send their work out into the world!

If you’re getting excited at the prospect of seeing @mikeflanaganfilm.com and @stephenking.bsky.social’s The Life of Chuck in June, how about revisiting this absolute beaut of a movie in anticipation? And if you’re still hungry after that, you could always pop Gerald’s Game in after!

We're talking the worst, best, and WORRRRST gamer merch on a brand new Pew Pew Bang! And no conversation on the topic would be complete without a reflection on E3 2017's official cringe T-shirts. Listen in your favorite podcast app or watch on YouTube here: youtu.be/ViukEy9pve4

I have to warn you that this is the most unhinged episode of @pewpewbang.bsky.social yet. And we’re only halfway through our first season.

The love for the Lunar series is evident by the care taken to preserve the games with these remasters that still hew to the memory of the PSX classics. Our Lunar Remastered Collection review: www.rpgsite.net/review/17199...

One thing people need to understand is that the US could literally just work together with China and create a better world for everyone with abundance. It’s precisely because the US wants to maintain its hegemony and does not want other countries to develop that we’re in this mess.

I'm not kidding that any Dem who wants to run in 2028 should get out ahead of this and loudly say if El Salvador puts American citizens in Trump's gulag we'll fucking invade.

Y’all know what to do

The fear of the American border is why our show will not be touring the US in the foreseeable future. Two members of our staff are not American citizens and there is no way we are going to risk them being black bagged by CBP to put on a comedy show.

old Soviet joke for our times: Guy stops by the newsstand every day, scans the front page, doesn’t buy the paper. One day the vendor asks what he’s up to. Guy says: “looking for an obituary.” Vendor says “those are towards the back of the paper, comrade.” Guy says: “not the one I’m looking for.”

Soon, the American economy is going to be nothing but various grifts, each trying to get you to put your face in an ever increasing bowl of ice water.
