If you don't think the policy is suitable, you can change it. That's the beauty of the Green Party isn't it? It's in the gift of members to do that. And if a sufficient majority of party agree with you, the policy will change.

And I'll reiterate, the point I'm making is not his personal position on anything. It was his failure to communicate party policy - the mark of true leadership, as that's the leader's job.

Totally agree Ceri. A great communicator both online and in person, and a terrific on-the-ground campaigner. Heard the rumour from enough people to think it's true, so guess announcement will be soon.

Thanks for that Ben. So what the OP alleges about Zack not becoming involved with disciplinary matters is actually an endorsement for acting with great integrity in delivering what is within the remit of the role and not abusing the influence it can give. Sounds like leadership material to me.

The problem is though that the wider public still think we're a single-issue party. I knock on a lot of doors and I hear it all the time. This hasn't changed under Adrian's leadership, Caroline's time as an MP etc., and emphasises why we need our best communicator in Zack as the leader of the party.
