The AAs with the value charger are only 1300mah. You’ll probably want some 2500s at some point, especially for Xbox controllers.

That’s true, but the indie scene will probably be better served by the Switch 1 for the next few years. It’s already got the massive user base, plenty of horsepower for those games, more portability, & better battery life. I don’t know long it’ll take them to even make 100 million Switch 2 units.

I’ll check this out. I always found MAME to be a PITA, so I just stopped using it entirely. I think the last time I used it was in 2003 or 4 to play SvC over Kaillera. I went back to try something else later and it didn’t work, so I just quit.

I would not have expected a simple swap there. I feel like calling it “The American” implies that it’s distinctly American somehow (gluttonous, excessive?), so changing the name to “The Canadian” makes it seem like there’s no difference in how they’re viewed, but that’s obviously not the case.

It’s a nice controller. I’ve got two now, and I use them for the Capcom and Genesis collections. I also use them on PC for Fightcade. I’m not good enough for it to matter if there are limitations with ST shenanigans, but it’s good enough for me. Also, both of mine came with a 1-month GPU code.
