It's a thankless role. Not that it's an excuse. They knew what they were getting into & they knew what Trump is like. But to not be able to do your job at even the most basic level without the Cheeto in Chief stepping in to micromanage everything & in the most disgusting manner possible must suck.

They're good! I keep meaning to buy them. I'm always reminded when I'm on an Air Canada flight and get them. :)

I'd believe it! I did that at YVR in the mid-1990s and it seemed like forever. I can't imagine it's gotten better.

Merch would be sweet! I didn't actually grab anything as I was heading to Joe Fortes for supper. But it looked cute!

It doesn't surprise me. Most of us like Canada. And so when the fucksticks who moan about separation start to get more coverage, that's what it takes to further galvanize people who want to stick with Canada. Most of us aren't treasonous bastards.

LOL. I am here until Saturday. Though I can probably do without East Hastings. Besides, I've been walking between my hotel and the convention centre and my legs feel like they're going to fall off.

Yeah, a couple friends asked if I was in East Hastings, LOL.

I'm certainly getting a crash course in things. I mean, apart from those two incidents, it's been generally okay. The big difference between here and at home is that at home, downtown is so devoid of people that you definitely feel more vulnerable than here.

I didn't think it was a bad area. It was Smithe Street, around Granville Street (the pooper). The jerker was also on Smithe Street, but around Burrard Street. The best part is the latter was holding a scratch-off lottery ticket in his other hand. Maybe he won and was really excited.

I mean, I live in Edmonton and it _definitely_ has its issues. But this is like Vancouver told someone to hold their beer and watch this, and then cranked it to 11. It's certainly been something, and this is just day one.

As my walk progressed, I encountered a jovial fellow squatting & taking a shit in the middle of the sidewalk, and on the walk back, around the same area, someone openly jerking it (his dick, not the aforementioned turd) on a street corner. Fortunately, managed to dodge a few condoms on the sidewalk.

It's certainly throwing a wrench in things for some. Fortunately, I'm of the mindset of we'll get there when we get there. :)

Yeah! It's definitely something I've been looking forward to every couple weeks. :D It's sad that we're already looking at the 55+ part of the menu and going 'yup, not too much longer...'

It's astonishing the bullshit that Danielle Smith is powering through while distracting with the separation bullshit. And yet so many in this province are happy to just vote her in because their parents and grandparents voted Conservative and gosh darn it, we can't have those Communists voted in!
