I literally spent 15 minutes trying to figure out the confusion that would lead someone to this list, until I settled on LLM soup. Malta and Iran? Presumably because of state religions? Serbia and Greece? Because of historic events I guess? Palestine?! What does that even mean here?

is staff meant to contrast with faculty here? if so a lot of schools were pretty stingy with sponsorships even before Trump

Yeah so first you've got (0) which is like a pulsating, ravenous black hole desperate to devour everything. Let's draw it as the open unit disc in the plane. Then for p a positive prime integer, draw (p) at exp(2πi/p). Each (p) is a closed point but the closure of (0) is all of Spec(ℤ).

In case this makes anybody else nostalgic enough to go to Youtube to listen to Still Alive, *do not* look at how long ago it was posted. Nothing good will come of it.

Maybe a more meaningful sentiment if it came from your trans reporters. *touching earpiece* Oh, maybe you should lift your ban on trans reporters, hire some, and then ask them what they thing.

The preferential status of people of one ethnicity over that of another. How is that not obvious?

Also, I don't understand what you think Zionism is. Are you saying that being strongly opposed to the existence of a Jewish national state on the territory of Palestine is compatible with Zionism? Because if so, I don't think you have substantive disagreements with many anti-Zionists.
comment in response to post
1. Because as a leftist I am committed to international solidarity, and 2. because as a long-term US tax payer I am morally implicated in the genocide of the Palestinians in a way I am not in most other nationalist enterprises.
comment in response to post
No, that's not Zionism, and the insistence that Arabs don't have the same rights as Jews in Israel (i.e. right of return, language, guaranteed role in government, etc.) is as much a feature of liberal Zionism as of far-right versions of Zionism.

"There are many supposedly "progressive" individuals who believe that America should e ethnically cleansed of non "natives.""" is an assertion, not an argument, and I think "no, that's not true" is about as strong an argument as one needs.
comment in response to post
I don't think that's true.
comment in response to post
Zionism is a particular answer to the question of how much longer and in what status that Arab can stay in Jerusalem, and when can he reunite with his cousins in Jenin or Khan Yunis. I can't imagine what could be less moot than that.
comment in response to post
Judging by this I think you might be operating by a very idiosyncratic definition of Zionism! There is nothing inherently antisemitic about opposing the actually existing movement that seeks to create a Jewish nation state on the territory of Palestine.

To be fair, if Thermomix exfiltrated possibly confidential data from my company network and added ingredients of unknown sourcing I would have a lot of concerns!
comment in response to post
it's very interesting that in your mind the community that has a legitimate interest includes Jews from Boca Raton but excludes Arabs from Jerusalem

What in the original comment is cancelling to you? It's literally a generic declaration of the source of the message that you continually claim to not be addressing.

You are responding to Reggie Watts' comment...
comment in response to post
So how are your replies to Reggie Watts different from other peoples' replies to Yorke?

If a Russian made this post about the invasion of Ukraine, everyone would be calling them out on it.

i mean, to be fair, here you are bitching instead of doing anything

wait, so trans women aren't women now, but like 30 years from now when we do have trans women who give birth to children, they will become women?
comment in response to post
Do you think being a woman is exactly as culturally, sociologically, psychologically meaningful as being 5 foot tall? You think there's literally nothing more to the experience of women than a measurement? Even for a Nazi shitstain, you have to be smarter than this to pretend you're a feminist.

I was trying to figure out whether the author specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry or endocrinology, but according to this bio it's just some random asshole who hasn't worked a real job in his life?

Trying to make up for a peaceful death post-mortem is really much less dignified.

That's not true? That's literally a thing you just made because of your contempt of Arabs. You are a Nazi, Diana, go to your leader now and leave the people alone.

But like in this particular case we are weakening the concept of IP specifically for corporate use only. I can't train a GPT competitor on libgen my MacBook M1, and allowing Facebook to do it doesn't mean I can torrent Andor.

Like the Israeli soldier doing the murdering and the raping thinks he's doing it for God or Lebensraum or eternal safety or whatever. You are doing it for a statistically meaningless advantage in an already-run election. You smell of brimstone.
comment in response to post
I wish that were true, but the numbers aren't there. But if it were, it would be just as true that Harris' intransigence on the genocide cost her the election. Instead of saying that, you attack people with the impossible choice of voting for the person sending the bombs killing their baby cousins.
comment in response to post
You are not an Israeli soldier killing children in Gaza by the dozens either, but I still think your soul is somehow more rancid.

I mean this without an ounce of hyperbole: I think you might be one of the most evil people on the planet.

China refused to process Russian consumer credit card purchases due to fear of secondary sanctions. You think they are willing to do it for *howitzer* sales?
comment in response to post
Who? Who sells ammunition for US aircraft and can withstand US sanctions?
comment in response to post
too decadent. how about
comment in response to post
For example, Biden famously drew a red line at Rafah. After the IDF assault on Rafah, Biden could have halted all arms shipments to Israel and threatened secondary sanctions on any country that continued to provides offensive capabilities. We owe Palestinians more, but this would have cost nothing.
