I am a city person through and through, born and always lived within metros, but wow, does the close proximity to all sorts of nature make Minneapolis the best one by far. It is wild how watching little birds and animals and water and trees can really lower the blood pressure. Good stuff Minnesota.

All 3 ran for office despite serious cancer diagnoses. If Dems had managed to hold a 1 or 2 seat majority, we'd be in the minority right now. And because we're 3 votes short, Mike Johnson will have a much easier time ripping healthcare away from millions of people who also have serious conditions.

In the current climate where GOP governors just refuse to call special elections to fill seats of people who die in office, any Dem who refuses to retire should be primaried. I am sick of having to entrust what's left of our democracy to the elderly. There's no such thing as a "young 74."
