This one thing would have been the end of Biden, Obama, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, etc etc etc... #insanity

Let's send J.D. Vance to fight.

To be fair, Trump was far from the only one involved with that bombing.

Their tactic is to make the distraction just as important as the thing they're distracting from. #iran #trump #bombing

I mean, what could possibly go wrong here??

I can't reply to this the way I want. Even on bsky, I would go to social media jail! "The 2nd amendment applies to everyone" and "liberals, arm yourselves as is your legal right"... maybe I could get away with that. #minnesota

So I think California, Washington, and Oregon are going to do a Wexit and secede from the US, does Minnesota want to come with?? ;)

Oh great, I'm going to picture that every time I eat tacos now...

So, about that soon-to-come H2H genotype of H5N1 that is busy evolving right now... #vaccines

Well, they had haggis sausages at the Eugene Scottish Festival last weekend... my sister ate one. I did not.

This is a pic of an actual item that my sister bought at the Eugene Scottish Festival. It's real. I saw it. She ate it. O.o.

But they would have found an excuse anyway. We've got to keep the protests up about this issue. Portland needs to step up much more than the activists here have been doing. #ICE

There are some protests in #PDX and Vancouver, but nowhere NEAR enough... we need to be doing much more. We need LA numbers! #ICE
comment in response to post
We need to have more of these ICE protests in #Portland. Come on ppl! It's happening here too!! We need more people and we need more protests!! This is not enough! www.kptv.com/2025/06/05/p...

I see your point, but I'm not so sure that encyclopedias were that much better.

So how can I get Trump to do the same thing for my book?? 🤪

Even as realpolitik, I doubt it. But the best case scenario would be if Trump went off on Elon, and this actually could happen.

Here's the one that disturbs me the most, and it is never, ever discussed: the young and healthy farmworker in Ohio who was severely ill and required hospitalization. Why is NOBODY talking about this one??
comment in response to post
THIS again... "Most had mild symptoms. The one person who died had underlying health conditions." A 13 yo in B.C. came incredibly close to dying. But that isn't the most disturbing case.... (1/2)

To be fair, they could just look on Wikipedia.

I mean... there ARE other choices besides COVID and a Happy Meal... maybe a lentil salad?

I kind of wish I didn't know that Richard Bach dumped his first wife and then didn't see his six kids for years. Anyone can have 3 divorces, which he has, but his son literally wrote a book about how neglectful his father was.

Lady Tremaine really rocked that look though...

That cloud formation looks like Great Britain. Seriously.

She probably had no choice. By resigning, she's able to at least make her voice be heard, which I really hope she does. #vaccine #covid #h5n1

I've been thinking for quite a while that #mpox might mutate and surprise everyone by spreading everywhere.

I can think of a number of places he should go besides prison, but I just got out of Reddit jail and I'm not risking problems again. #trumpisevil

We simply don't know what the CFR would be for an H2H genotype of #H5N1. However, the same CFR as #COVID would be devastating because most deaths in all flu #pandemics are always people under 65. This was true in 1918-1920, 1957, 1968, and 2009.
comment in response to post
Why do they always have adorable pics of kitties illustrating articles about H5N1 and cats...
comment in response to post
But flu *pandemics* don't work that way. The overwhelming majority of deaths are always in people under 65, and good health has never been a protection. If you ask ChatGPT, though, it gives you a wrong answer, and I seriously think that's what Trump and co are operating on.

There are days when the human #H5N1 #pandemic can't come too soon.

How'd you like to pay 30% more when you go to the store? Because that's what we got. This tariff is going to be passed on to the consumer. #trump #tariff #TrumpIsAnIdiot
