I'm pretty sure the only people who can identify someone based on plates are the police (general public can't get access to that database) so I guess it just depends on how much you think you can trust them

I'd play the game rules as written a few times and if you like most of whats there but find lack of initiative to be a deal breaker, then I'd just add it back in. I'd also discuss expectations with that in my session 0

I hope they bring back NFTs (they were stupid and fun to make fun of)

Paid almost $100 CDN for the special edition Candela which was just the book so idk maybe $200 for the book + all the extra stuff is a steal
comment in response to post
Idk why I’m surprised, I saw how it was priced at PAXU. I guess I’m just surprised that you can’t just buy the book separately from everything else (??)

A modern day Talamasca (secret society that watches the Supernatural in Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe) campaign using Candela/ Blades in The Dark

*the convention makes a cut
comment in response to post
Why would the convention let them do that? They make a cut off of every photo, they don’t care if it’s not affordable

Its a double edged sword that we got a season two but all my favourite co-workers/ producers got hired on to bigger and better things in LA. Doing reality TV is not for the weak and is worse if you dont like the people you're working with

Rereading them and truly they are almost to generous with their kindness considering I was on the verge of a mental breakdown every day of that production lol "Kristen is very resilient' If by resilient you mean I only cried one day instead of every day I was on call then I guess you're right

Got you - yah I really think the 70mm experience is different from a typical viewing experience just because the theatre itself is different. But put a person in a regular IMAX film and then have them watch the same movie in a Dolby Atmos theatre and they’ll likely have the same viewing experience

Like to see Sinners in true 70mm IMAX, there’s like a total of 14 screens in North American that you can watch it on (one in Canada the rest are in the states)

And people who suggest there is a real difference see just under the placebo affect of the marketing
comment in response to post
I have a running theory that IMAX is mostly a marketing concept made to make people pay significantly more to see movies. I feel like IMAX is just kind of a scam UNLESS you have a 70mm IMAX theatre in your area
comment in response to post
Most of what you’re watching in IMAX is not considered ‘true IMAX’ because of how they’ve built the theatres (true IMAX theatres exist but it’s more likely that you’re seeing movies in a theatre that is not up to full IMAX specs. Also many movies aren’t fully shot on IMAX cameras.

Having written confirmation that people do in fact think you're good at your job is very nice and while it doesn't totally kill the imposter syndrome it does make it a bit easier to deal with

How? Check this out: domoai.app/blog/domoai-... Notice how this link doesn't say "DomoAI x Discord Partnership". It used to though! Discord never announced a partnership. DomoAI CLAIMED they had a partnership, then quietly removed the word from their headline to gaslight us all.

Logically if I know why something feels bad, I should be able to make it better and it’s honestly just annoying that I can’t

More on this btw. Potential way to kick it from your servers. The ID is 1153984868804468756 Remember, never believe an AI bot's claims that they won't train your stuff without permission. They will. #Discord

It also feels like something like this is always the precursor to people finding out something something significantly worse about said person

Idk it's not like we're lacking good artists with good opinions though. Maybe they're not all Oscar winners but it's not like we're limited in good artists to platform
