Exactly this. I worked for a 3-letter agency a few years ago and a lot of my friends from those days were fired for having the audacity to help folks in marginalized groups. It's beyond the pale to have this Signal fiasco happen after so many qualified govt workers were fired for doing nothing wrong

Pretty sure he's the kind of guy who avoids interacting with anyone like that at all costs and assumes they'll just die off.

That smug asshole keeps looking at the camera like "Hur hur, can you believe this, chat?" and I just want to slap that mug into his teeth.

No, not like that!"

On the contrary, there are many deaths that are funny (Segway CEO riding one off a cliff) and more to come that will be incredibly cathartic ([insert oligarch here]).

Careful. The Feds might throw a terrorism charge at you for saying such things.

That's assuming there isn't an "accident" that kills him first. Like a cop's gun going off 17 times into the back of his head in a clear "suicide".

Also look at the holes in the metal part of the connector. If you see some space before plastic, it's right-side up. No space before plastic? Wrong side.

And of those hypothetical people, how many of them have been POTUS?

I'm all for the 2A (own two guns myself), but there's reasonable restrictions that can be implemented that aren't "OMG U GUYS DA DEMS ARE COMIN FER MY GUUUUUUUUNZ!!!!"

Oh, I'm sorry that I'm not weeping openly for the guy who lets tens of thousands die every year to pad his paycheck and get him another yacht. Truly, I must be just the worst of humanity. 🙄
You're so busy criticizing people for their reactions while ignoring the evils that create them.

We literally had a health insurance company reverse course on a reprehensible proposal to cut off paying for anesthesia the day after the shooting.
Clutch pearls as needed, but that shooting got more results than any amount of public chastising.

"Nonsensical tragedy"? The man headed a company that denied Healthcare at a rate multiple times that of industry standard and actively profited from the decision to let people die.
This was karma, nothing more or less.

When is it going to get through the skulls of the academics and pundits? Trump and his cult *do not care about norms and standards*. If they can get away with it, they will. No amount of clutched pearls and wringing hands will change that mentality.
Well past time to understand this.

They're just mad that the only things that will be found in Trump's library will be unsold copies of his ghost-written crap from the 80s and many, many crates of classified information.

Imagine this. Trump's second term goes off like his first one did. He enriches himself through the government again. He gets himself more tax breaks again. He escapes accountability for violating the law again.
Will you then admit you got duped yet again? Because all that is far more likely.

Lol. Lmao even. The Trump cultist wants to clutch pearls over unproven allegations of illegal behavior. That is just *precious*.
