Yeah but I feel like it's been especially cruel to us. Like we simultaneously are horrible with our money and spend it on useless things like avocado toast but we're also too stingy and we're destroying Staples of American life like fabric softener because we don't buy enough stuff apparently?

Yeah getting real tired of people forgetting that some of us are almost 40, like "you Millennials are too young to get it!"
Ok, well when am I supposed to "get it" dip ass? In my 60s?

" hey remember that Iron Golem I showed you? Well this is a special iron golem machine, it makes the iron golem then drops it into a vat of lava where it dies screaming! And voila, infinite iron!"

What sort of workflow are you dealing with? Like what programs are you using? I got really used to doing things in an Adobe environment, when me and the studio were dealing with large files we would just trade in proxies then once the final was agreed I'd render the full version.

I've honestly not experienced a bottleneck for 4K in that regard I've experienced it for 8K but not for 4K not recently

I would have agreed with this about 10 years ago, but now I mean my phone shoots in 4k, you can get a GH4 on Facebook Marketplace for like $300 and it's still an amazing camera. Shooting 8K yeah that's unnecessary unless you're like filming a Hollywood movie I guess but 4K is extremely doable

You can't worry about those people, those people are too far gone. If they want to judge you, let them, history will be their judge and it will not be kind.

... are trying to 'maintain decorum' while a genuine fascist coup is trying to take the reigns of power. We have no past history of our own to fall back on. We're making up a true American Resistance as we go right now.

... would at the end of the day on some level have America's best interest in mind, they were not designed to stop a real dictatorial push because it was always thought that the leader of the nation would be a leader. Now people stuck in the politics of the 1990s (con't)

Because America, fundamentally, has never had to actually throw off the chains of an authoritarian before, and so unlike other countries, we are uniquely unequipped to deal with this challenge. Our laws around the executive branch were put in place under the assumption that the president (con't)

Oh that dude's not autistic, he's a ketamine head, and the Nazi party was run by a guy hopped up on all kinds of shit. In fact by the end of the war a bunch of high command was abusing one thing or another, to say nothing of the rampant meth or "Pervitin" abuse in the Wehrmacht.

if you want a better example, I think once he's gone the respective parties and pendants will go through a kind of de stalinization, as people both inside and outside of his circle try to distance themselves from his legacy.

He's old as fuck and in bad shape, easts McDonalds everyday, appeared to be out of breath trying to open a car door, he's not got much time, and he's the old rotten timber keeping that whole autocratic outhouse standing, as soon that beam cracks they'll turn on each other and eat themselves alive.
