I’m still punk rock and don’t go to bed till midnight. And by that I mean fall asleep on the couch by 9 and then the wife makes me move to the bed at midnight.

You also weren’t making hamburgers for 20$ that you have to order fries separately in a rustic farmhouse decor.

The fact Arch alone is in the “good” category immediately invalidates this list.

It also is annoying because it then implies once again you must not be understanding your own sexuality or gender correctly since you don’t fit community expectations (both outside and inside the LGBTQ) or are allowed to just talk about said concepts without being labeled.

That might be fine for some who are in an environment conducive to it. Others that have families and livelihoods to worry about not so much. The rule was don’t assume others were in a safe zone just because you were. Because sometimes even external implication could cause ripple effects.

Oh I’m aware. I signed it knowing full well the implications it would mean if people would have outed us before it was repealed. So when people said you might be queer (which I still struggle to use because of it originally being a slur growing up), it could have a lot of implications on your life.

Maybe it’s because I’m one of the older crowd that remember signing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and routine use of the F word, but you didn’t talk about other people’s supposed orientation or gender as it was “annoying” in the sense of broader public social implications of how others treated you.

I have and I’ve also had gay people say that being called an egg is really annoying because they don’t subscribe to gender norms and passing comments or idle thought experiments are somehow subconscious code they don’t know. That conversation is also where I learned what an egg was.

Never heard of the egg prime directive but it seems like something you shouldn’t do because whether they are or not you are saying that someone who is presenting as one gender is “not acting their appearance and thus must be masking for the other.” It seems like saying “you’re doing man wrong.”

Oh I think it doesn’t come out of negativity but I could definitely understand him choosing to use energy positively than to start being frustrated.

It wouldn’t surprise me at this point that he leans into the theme more out of feeding the comments. He could have chosen to lean into it as part of the fun rather than getting upset that people keep calling him an egg.

So the concept of what the world generally recognizes now as “pizza” was actually an invention of American GIs after WWII and Italian Americans. In fact, italians changed their version over time to more closely mirror the American version and even start selling it in slices.

I learned quickly 3D printing should be approached like owning a pool or boat…i.e. have a friend who owns a 3D printer.
