Still annoys me to this day. How on ever could anything there could be deemed a ‘clear and obvious foul’ by Arsenal?

The same VAR who disallowed that Sokratis goal way back when for a Chambers “foul” and recommended Saliba vs Bournemouth was red but somehow thought Henderson wasn’t.

Struggling to remember a better CL semi tie than that one. 2 superb games.

It took me back to the 2019 and 2020 days and not in a good way.

You know how distraught people felt after Adolescence - times that by 10 when it comes to this show. Though it should be required viewing for those actually in charge of these weapons

The ‘Netflix only produce garbage’ contingent are quite quiet at the minute. The UK division in particular is on a huge run of hits.

Being on Sky means it’s pretty likely to fail and have many of the same old faces that appear on any Sky comedy/panel show programmes. Friday Night Project was probably the closest we’ll come to an SNL here

It’s exhausting too as every game is seen as a referendum on some sides by certain pundits rather than just y’know the facts teams win and lose.
Also I swear the title race never used to be covered in such granular details so early as it is now.

I wish Sky would stop using him on all our games on there.

These days I hate most stuff about football other than the football itself. All the noise and ‘storylines’ around it is so very tedious.

Goodly morning. Tbf this place very much covers everything I need from an Arsenal POV. On other areas it can be a bit light.

Honestly the pair are ubiquitous. If there’s a PL game odds are one is involved, they’re on at least 3 different podcasts, Carragher on CBS. One great about Euros or World Cups is actually hearing from other pundits.

Neville and Chris Sutton are basically indistinguishable these days. And one Chris Sutton was more than enough.
Worst thing is all this nonsense this past week has so predictable.

Neto is making me nostalgic for Runarsson

Yep the ‘why do people discuss the refs so much’ as if fans are the problem misses the point. 99% of us don’t want to and would focus on the football but more and more it’s made the central part of the game

I was going to say I don’t remember a referee ever doing the same team twice in a row in the PL so was thinking surely he wasn’t assigned in the first place.

It’s sad - football should be fun and an escape from the worst aspects of life. And it’s feeling that less and less these days in a number of ways

Love it by the boys. But also the reffing in that game and the sadly inevitable gaslighting about how ‘the ref had no choice’ does make you fall out of love with football more and more.

What makes it worse too will be the inevitable gaslighting by the usual suspects (we all know the ones) of how that sort of thing is always a red.

The phrase ‘guilty pleasure’ is overused but it’s the definition of a guilty pleasure. It’s bonkers, cheesy and slightly naff but somehow I sit through it each time

For players that are paid thousands per week, the absolute inability to keep shots down in recent games is staggering.
