More just an observation than anything, and not trying to paint moves in certain lights, just will be interesting if there is more of a volatile impact next season for the three players - either positive or negative

Also a great point made and thats where I’m interested bc the likes of Kompany & Russel Martin, good expansive managers havent been able to get to grips with the league. IF Parker pragmitism cant work & those inbetween (McKenna & Edwards) then the gap between leagues is a point needing adressed IMO

Not one bit, enjoyed it a lot myself and some very good points made. Wont ever be trying to score points on this account and happy all the time to be proven wrong, hope all is good with the drinks!

(Not saying that you are) but a fair few people would define him as out of his depth in the PL, I’m interested whether he can probe them doubters wrong with Burnley in a more pragmatic style 2/2

Yeah again all fair points, devils advocate would say if he kept Fulham up then potentially could have expanded - but the facts are there that he didnt, and if he did he may have continued. Young manager who by his own admission has had his failings, but I dont think he should be written off 1/2

See I can see that side, but couldnt you argue Nuno’s Forest are something similar this season? They received some criticism last season and recently in poor form, but being organised defensively and hoping for a bit of magic up top (in general) may just get them europe? Playing devils advocate

I respect that and I also am probably underqualified as I’m not a Fulham fan, just as a fair general statement the only manager to properly get Mitrovic to his potential was Silva. A bad start & a very bad end did him Parker no favours that season, but inbetween Fulham grinded out some good results

Yes agreed lots of goalless games, but reminded me of Graham Potter at Brighton before it clicked, had narrowed the margin for defeat but fell on the wrong side of that margin too many times. I’m not sure about the Mitrovic shout, he wasnt the player he became under Marco Silva&still played 27 times

James Milner - on pitch “morals” are always right and fits the age / experience category

Was thinking the exact same

The difficulty with organising around Salah is, especially in recent games, he doesn’t get overly “looked for” in the same way Saka or other wingers might do in general play. However hes so clinical in moments that turn games. Watching vs Southampton, Newcastle 1st half, Girona etc this was the case
