DON'T BURN GLOSSY HABITAT! 🔥 There are only 250 Glossies left in VIC, and FFMV plans to burn 13,000 ha of their crucial remaining habitat over the next three years. vnpa.org.au/action-minis...

If paying a cashier a living wage will make prices go up. Why doesn't replacing cashiers with Self Checkouts make prices go down?

Zoe Daniel has requested a recount in Goldstein - as is any candidate’s right. The AEC will determined if she is entitled to one. Meanwhile, her opponent, Tim Wilson, remains the smug, graceless chud he has always been. #auspol www.theguardian.com/australia-ne...

for anyone who needs to be reminded: 🫶

Crossing the Forth Road Bridge into the Kingdom of Fife. It was an amazing day.

Under the cover of the on-again/off-again Coalition drama, Labor is gearing up to approve an absolutely catastrophic gas project. Woodside’s North West Shelf is an untapped climate bomb. This approval would mean supercharged floods, fires and species extinctions.

PROOF will have a report out on this massive scam shortly.

“The primary purpose of Woodside’s North West Shelf extension is to process gas from the Browse gas field underneath Scott Reef” - G Bice, @greenpeaceap.bsky.social So if Watt approves North West Shelf, it means Browse will probably eventually be green-lit too 🤬 a reminder about Browse...👇

I walk onwards today after a restful day off. I stayed with my good friend Mick and his family. I hope to reach the Kingdom of Fife today but I’m not sure. I’ve developed a very painful right foot, so I’ll be taking things slowly.

Thou shalt not talk about BribeJet or pictures of seashells or criticize his morality or call his mental condition into question or else he will get really really angry and post an ALL CAPS LIE on LieSocial and then sue you and eventually lose. So you know, oh no.

Fuck I hate this turd Hillsong prosperity doctrine & submission of women

Forest Fire Management Victoria destroying another forest ecosystem.

Five miles earlier this morning. The Pentlands looking shrouded & mysterious. I’m alone in these wonderful hills. Quite lovely.

Serious sized rally outside parliament this morning against the new Emergency Services levy.

An excellent one minute explainer of the effect planned burns have on the forest.

Wherever I pitch my tent, I make my home. Here, on Hare Hill in the Pentland Hills. A superb day. 15 miles of rough walking & airy solitude. I loved it. It’s windy, so great to get my Shine Turbine working to recharge my power banks.

Edinburgh tomorrow!

After my presentation to the Keswick Mountain Festival, it was an honour to be invited to dial in to the Odyssey 30th anniversary celebration. I’m proud to be an ambassador for the charity and my current Four Corners adventure is raising funds for them. www.justgiving.com/page/nick-li...

Thank you so much Sue.

My presentation at the Keswick Mountain Festival this afternoon. It went well. It was an honour and I enjoyed myself. Back on the Four Corners trail again tomorrow. 😊

Mental Health Awareness Week. This is my story. I’m so fortunate to be able to recount it. As tough as it is, I hope my sharing helps increase awareness about severe mental illness and the need for suicide prevention. Best wishes. www.thenational.scot/news/1930611...

A must read. ❤️❤️

It's the burning season for Forest Fire Management, if you're wondering about the haze in the eastern suburbs. Planned burns are an ineffective and often counterproductive way to reduce fire risk, as the science shows. But it does tick the 'looks like were doing something' box for the government.

This is a State Forest being deliberately burned by a Victorian Government authority. 500 hectares with endangered flora and fauna. So dry none of the fauna have anything to eat and the endemic flora can’t move anyway. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Mental Health Awareness Week. Recovery is possible. Even if the illness is enduring, recovering a sense of self is attainable. With community support & compassion (& inner determination), change can occur. This is me a year ago & me now. It’s been a tough road but I’m pleased to have trodden it.
