Honestly, seeing McCoy, Kirk, and Spock in “old men polycule on vacation together” mode is my favorite part of that film

I had cats who would do this during the night! I would fall asleep with one sleeping next to my head and the other on my feet and then, when I would wake up, they would have switched during the night.

I love those early films but completely hate that those scenes exist. It actually takes GOLDFINGER, an otherwise top tier Bond film, a whole star down for me. It’s a really dilemma for a Bond fan.

I have so many more suggestions that come from my own brain and not AI.

JANE EYRE by Charlotte Bronte for gothic romance classic, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE by Jane Austen for mainstream romance classic, and DRACULA by Bram Stoker for vampire classic (or CARMILLA by J. Sheridan Le Fanu if you liked HUNGERSTONE), THE ADVENTURES OF AMINA AL-SIRAFI by S.A. Chakraborty for pirates

THE BUFFALO HUNTER HUNTER by Stephen Graham Jones for horror, THE MURDERBOT series by Martha Wells for short sci-fi adventures, THE ORNITHOLOGIST’S FIELD GUIDE TO LOVE by India Holton for romance, STARTER VILLAIN by John Scalzi for humor, SUPERGIRL: WOMAN OF TOMORROW by Tom King for superheroes

That’s infuriating. I at least try to muffle my sobs so I don’t disturb anyone with my emotions about the end of that movie.

It’s difficult for him to get more punchable. He’s maxed out on his punch-ability stats.

I think what puts him over the top is how in Fallout, he’s like, “I’m going to destroy the world, but only if it fucks over this one guy specifically.”

That’s a real vote of confidence, thank you! I’ve been reading The Film Maven for the past few months, and I’ve been really loving it.

Bound by the Wachowskis! It’s lesbian noir/crime and has a lot of fun vibes and a great ending

I think you may have convinced me to see it this weekend!

This felt like a delightful Gen Z takedown/homage of the slasher genre. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

Cats are from The Twilight Zone, I’m convinced; there is no other explanation as to how they regularly ignore physics.

Ooooo, I would join!
