Prolific Poster

Remember, even if it's a Friday the 13th in June, it's still never a bad time to watch MY BLOODY VALENTINE.

All the Friday the 13th movies are kind of excellent and kind of shitty in different ways. The best one is a half-remembered recollection of things that happened in 4 different movies

Because of timezones, happy SATURDAY THE 14TH.

No Kings but...

THE NEW BLOOD all the way down in 5 and JASON X not in the top 3? Pure ragebait. 😉

Czech poster for The Poseidon Adventure (1972), produced by Irwin Allen - BOTD in 1916

Poster for the giallo/Eurocrime hybrid STRANGE SHADOWS IN AN EMPTY ROOM (1976), directed by Alberto De Martino (credited as Herbert Martin on the poster) - BOTD in 1929

A man who brings the Funk AND the Noise

And believe it or not, this poster UNDERSELLS the movie.

GOLIATH AND THE SINS OF BABYLON (1963)

THE MINOTAUR, THE WILD BEAST OF CRETE (1960)

PERSEUS THE INVICIBLE (1963)

I told you we’d be back

#NoReason *excited noises*

French poster for MOMMIE DEAREST (1981)

A very 90's double-feature in progress.

THE INCREDIBLE SEX-RAY MACHINE (1972, aka THE ORGY MACHINE) Not availible in stores.

2069: A SEX ODYSSEY (1974) "Thus Spake Zarathustra" intensifies.

MÉNAGE À TROIS (1981) In 3-D! #ComingRightAtcha

#AWORLDTOUROFCINEMA: The Netherlands SPOORLOOS (1988, aka THE VANISHING)

I know Tubi needs content, but I am once again asking filmmakers to stop slapping "AMITYVILLE" on their horror movies. (That being said, the title AMITYVILLE CHRISTMAS VACATION did tickle me.)

Okay, full disclosure: I've never seen any of the WITCHCRAFT movies, and didn't realise they've made SIXTEEN films since 1988.

Say what you will about the quality of CHILDREN OF THE CORN series, they've made it through 11 films without going to college, space or New York City.

#AWorldTourOfCinema France: LAST BULLET More classy French Car-Porn made by people who VERY obviously LOVE cars. And LOVE using them as very heavy vehicular missiles.

Still yet to see PREDATOR: KILLER OF KILLERS. But I should probably double-feature it with this...

America, can I suggest you defund ICE and give the money to Sydney Sweeney to make dozens of quirky indie films?

HOLY WATER JOE (1971)

PROFESSIONALS FOR A MASSACRE (1967)

THE REVENGE OF THE RESURRECTED (1972)

"ATTACK HUG!"

"That back molar look bad, this cost many bananas..."-Kong, DDS.

Two Irish women fighting, yet #wwe forgot to get Jamesons to slap sponsorship on the IC belt. Sloppy, Trips. #MITB

My man @dillamonster.bsky.social going full ham on Sharksploitation today

#NowWatching TOMBSTONE (1993) #FilmSky

Me: "Holy Shit, cherised childhood adventure flick NATE AND HAYES (aka SAVAGE ISLANDS) has been released on Blu-Ray!" *ten seconds later* Me:... in the U.S and Canada only. Are you seriously making me pirate a pirate movie, International Copyright Laws?

NANOSHARK (2024, D. @thebrettkelly.bsky.social) or "FINATSTIC VOYAGE" as I'm now calling it.

From the same people who brought you KAIJU GLAM METAL SHARK, and no, I'm not making that up.

I watched 47 METERS DOWN off Tubi yesterday, but apparently I have plenty of follow-up options.

My movie tonight for #AWORLDTOUROFCINEMA is a co-prodction, so while ERNEST & CELESTINE is technically French, I'm counting it as my flick from Belgium.

The Sunday Sinema crew's "simultaneous joke riff" that happens in my living room FINALLY happens on Bluesky! (Although it's usally Bevan and I making the same wisecrack IRL)

VELVET HIGH (1981)

CHESTY ANDERSON, USN (1976)
