Going to tell my kids this was Ridley Scott and Ron Cobb's Standard Semiotic.

Seems fake. We would people who fought in the US War of Independence worry so much about their constitution allowing people to gather freely?

I would also not leave a country whose government seemed desperate to cater to me.

And also the reason so many CEOs and "Thought leaders" love this book is it's really quite short.

This is how. Greta Thunberg spits fire and gives you the only media training you may ever need.

A zombie outbreak coming out metaphor comedy. It steered closer than I'd like to Pratchett's Reg Shoe gags but reading it now the metaphor was surprisingly raw and vivid when it came to describing internalised homophobia. Young Chris had some shit to deal with.

Not cool

Incidentally, hanging out in the spaceship kitchen chatting shit until you're forced to go on a mission is Fermi's *precise* vibe.

"Got called transphobic in academia earlier lads" "Tell us what happened lad" "I got called transphobic in academia" "Ye but why" "I was being transphobic" "In academia?" "Yeah it was in academia"

Between this, Exodus and Outer Worlds 2 I have got one *hell* of a year of hanging around in spaceship kitchens chatting shit with NPCs until I run out of dialogue tree and am forced to do a mission to unlock more.

In other news, I've got a ton of work this month but not much that actually *pays* this month, so all book purchases, ratings, reviews and recommendations are extra specially appreciated.

Eight high concept, genre-busting, format breaking planet-of-the-week stories about a spaceship whose FTL drive vaporises every planet it visits! You, yes, you personally, would love this.

Getting told off for asserting my right to remain silent and insisting to know under which power I'm being detained while the 5yo is playing Police.
