With that kind of logic, I guess the officer would feel the same way if it were a child in the car.

I'm referring to the wealthy 60% who voted in the poll, not the overall population.

Sadly, the only ones the Republicans care about are the wealthy 60% who voted that it will help.

The reason they are arresting people at the courthouse who are complying with immigration hearings is to scare others who want to do the right thing, not to show up. Then they can say we are arresting them for not complying with their immigration hearings.

I don't know why reporters don't ask these sycophants if they agree with Trump pardoning Lawrence Duran, who was convicted of stealing $87 million from Medicare. Duran was part of a Medicare fraud scheme that resulted in the theft of $205 million. Trump pardoned everyone involved.

Columbus's bio sounds a lot like Trump's. Keeping my fingers crossed for the "died penniless after being imprisoned."

Trump will issue appeal after appeal for years with no real consequence to him, as he has done many times before.

First Newsom and now Whitmer. At this rate, we won't have any competitive candidates by 2028.

In 2024, total US goods trade with Russia amounted to an estimated $3.5 billion, with exports to Russia at $526.1 million and imports from Russia at $3.0 billion, resulting in a $2.5 billion trade deficit for the US.

Someone sent this to me yesterday when I had the same question. "Courts don’t send injunctions against already illegal things. You don’t need an injunction, you’re already not supposed to do illegal things. The DAs or AG just need to find some courage and make the arrest."

Thanks for the clarification. They should have arrested him while he was in the state.

Apparently, the Wisconsin Supreme Court doesn't think it is illegal. "A unanimous Wisconsin Supreme Court on Sunday refused to hear a last-minute attempt by the state's Democratic attorney general to stop billionaire Elon Musk from handing over $1 million checks to two voters."

Trump would need an act of Congress to do this. He would need 60 Senators to vote to shut it down. A vote last year to abolish the education department - which was attached as an amendment to another bill - failed to pass as 60 Republicans joined all Democrats in the House to vote no.
