That’s one of the nifty things about BlueSky. No need to interact with bigots like you. Bye, Felicia.

Man, Oscar&Felix. Your post really drew out the MAGA idiots. Lots of juicy names to add to my block list.

Graphic’s incorrect. Trump had 77 million votes, Kamala 75. But what do we know expect from an illiterate MAGA moron?

Trump's still hella salty about losing that "Person of the Year" award to Greta.

I should also add that this video is done completely in ASL. No subtitles (other than from the documentary itself), no spoken English. I'll do an "For Hearing People" version later.

So far "Percy Jackson & the Olympians" are clearly in the lead.

Shout out to Sara Nović (@novicsara.bsky.social). Her column about this "Deaf President Now!" documentary inspired me to create this video review. You can find the column here: buttondown.com/signs+wonder...

So that’s where the Leopards Eating Faces Party originated!

Zero. It’s just too massive a property. Maybe as an anime. Maybe. Or when AI gets better and cheaper, then fans can create their own “Wheel of Time.”

It says “account suspended” for me.

I watched the first season and really enjoyed it. I understand the latter seasons didn't quite have the same level of quality, but I was planning on waiting until all five seasons were out, then binging it. Then Max just up and cancelled it, THEN removed the whole thing off their platform! Yeah...

I've never understood the need of people to just shit on a hobby they don't like. If you don't like it, just don't engage with it. Like I wasn't overly fond of the "Malazan" book series, but you don't see me going to their fan spaces and mocking those who DO like it. What's even the point?

I think I'm just too "ADHD" for Hobb's style of writing. It's well-written, yes, but I'm just not engaged enough. I much preferred Hobb's "Liveship Traders" trilogy, honestly. Ah well, I'll just keep on chugging until Sanderson's Secret Project #5 comes out this fall.

Looking at my post history, I was at 30% 18 days ago. So 33% in the past 2 1/2 weeks. That's slow for me, as I usually go through entire novels this size in 3-4 weeks. (I went through Brandon Sanderson's "Wind and Truth" in two weeks, for example.)

HBO once upon a time, maybe. But the current Warner Bros version of “Max” is horrible. Not quite Netflix-level, but they absolutely did Westworld wrong. Apple is probably the best bet, but their outreach is very limited.

If I were you, I'd absolutely at least get the paperwork started. I've already obtained passports for myself and eveybody in my family, just in case.

Well. That’d explain my youthful looks.

Left of batshit crazy. That’s a good way to put it. Yeah I used to lean right, back in the ComicBoards.com days. Then MAGA happened.

It’s all right. It was almost five years ago. Life goes on. Hope you’re doing well. What are you up to?

Ah right, Shore Leave in Baltimore, MD. I think I only went to that con once with Dave. I enjoyed Star Trek, but that was more Dave's thing than mine. As for Dave, I'm sorry to be the bearer of sad news, but he unfortunately passed away in December, 2020 from cancer.

Oh goodness. That was a looooong time ago. Was probably at a WizCon in Chicago. Haha I remember that sign for Byrne. How’s everything? Have you heard the news about Dave?

For those of you wondering, "Retro Reviews" are my smaller "bite-sized" review/recap of older TV shows (older as in they've been out for a year or more). They're typically around 7 minutes or so. Wondering if I should repost my older "Retro Review" stuff here or not.

This list is a bit confusing. Is this a list of single novels, or the collective sales of a series? Because it lists the first novels of various series, then "Discworld" by Terry Pratchett. I'm pretty sure Pratchett never wrote a novel with that specific title.

I love the show. But yeah, your description of the Eelfinn as "Pennywise if he was in Cats" is pretty much spot-on.

Agreed. I did a whole vlog about it about a month ago, but alas it’s too long to upload here on BlueSky. But that was my exact thought process.

I’ll follow you if you follow me back. Oh who am I kidding? Already clicked on “Subscribe.” But I won’t say no if you wanted to return the favor.

Not 100% sure. I suspect this was in the works for a long while, but Trump’s recent DoE shenanigans likely sped up the timeline.

Thanks for the repost, @ironblockadventures.com! I appreciate it greatly.

Not gonna lie, I'm getting a bit worried. Realistically, what's the latest we can go without an announcement before it's considered "cancelled"? Like there's so much they need to do to prep for Season Four. Writing scripts, securing locations, casting characters, etc. Eventually time will run out.
