I have a friend who learned the Thai phrase ‘ “hot like for Thai people” solely because that’s what he wanted, but given his white-man-ness, they never believed him. 🤣

One of the reasons I love this piece is that, in clearly showing why the administration’s attacks on medical research funding are so devastating, it also makes one of the clearest cases for why that funding has always mattered. unbreaking.org/issues/medic...

The implication of that realization is that a D.C. Circuit decision — also striking these down — is going to end this charade. Until there is circuit precedent, Trump can keep trying to find more firms willing to capitulate and sending Mizelle into district court to defend the ones who fight back.

Once again, friends, DO NOT RANK Cuomo on your mayoral ballot. Instead, #RankTheSlate - @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social, @bradlander.bsky.social, @nycspeakeradams.bsky.social, and @zellnor.bsky.social -- and add @jessicaramosqns.bsky.social to fill out your five. NO CUOMO - NEVER CUOMO.

The failure of the GENIUS Act is it takes this manufactured complexity seriously. We've seen private, unregulated money before. It's a problem so old, Abe Lincoln signed a law addressing it. The tech is beside the point - it's designed to obfuscate. That's why it might pass. Don't let it. FIN

Dads make diaper changes, but they do not do it as they please; they do not change diapers under self-selected circumstances, but respond to diaper circumstances existing already, given and transmitted from the past. Remnants of past feedings weigh like a nightmare on the diapers of the living.
