Some for sure but they were always like this well before Jan 6th. ICE is largely made up of people who wanted to join the military or police but who weren't accepted because they were too unstable or just plain stupid to qualify.

Dick Cheney absolutely did not pass that test. The Bush Jr. administration purposefully created DHS and ICE for exactly this purpose, this was always the reason for their creation. It just took years to come to fruition and by then he was an outsider who no longer benefitted from it.

Members of Congress are failing to take the appropriate steps to ensure they gain access to ICE facilities. If ICE is going to illegally use the threat of force to keep them out, it is their job to bring an even more overwhelming security force and make ICE stand down or die trying to keep them out.
