If UNESCO certifies #Taekwondo for either country it will make a mockery of #UNESCO certification. TKD is a recent invention based on Japanese martial arts. The name TKD dates from the 1960s. There is zero evidence that pre-modern martial arts in Korea had any overlap with TKD practices.

New terrible feeling unlocked: when you have a group of 4 students doing a paper/project together, w/ a rubric that explicitly details how many points they will lose if they cite papers that only exist in AI imagination, and they do so, and you know one student just screwed the rest

There are two main things we can notice at first sight from the title of this article. First, the word “alarming” in single quotes highlights a sort of frightening situation. Second, it tries to appeal to authority by adding the sentence “study finds" to support this idea of alarm.
