I was 13 when Kent State happened. It was all over the news and I didn't quite understand what was going on. Something like that was completely outside the life I was growing up in. I'm 68 now and can't quite realise that its all starting again.

When Nixon looks good you know we are in big trouble

Amen. This can't end well. People will be killed. Then they put a US Senator in handcuffs today for doing his job. This guy males Nixon look restrained.

IF THEY DO THIS TO A UNITED STATES SENATOR Imagine what they're doing to farm workers, construction workers, women, and children Investigate ICE This is out of control

Nobody is reading it. lol, maybe I’ll put it out as an e-book. The whole piece is 20 chapters long.

Many are not Real ICE Agents, all of them are lawbreakers, they believe they don’t have to pay heed to the Constitution

Thanks for reading. Kent State has been something I have been thinking about my whole life. Kent State: What Happened and Why is a book by James A. Michener is a great read if it is still in print.

This is excellent & heartbreaking. I'm 66. Was a child when Kent State happened. But I remember reading about it as a teen & being horrified. Like so many, as I continued my education, I discovered our often cruel, complicated history. Thank you for sharing. Thank you @theoriginaltomjoad.bsky.social
