The city that started it all. I saw this place in a CNN travel story. My wife woke up that Sunday morning, I showed her pic, and said, “we’re going here.” 3 months later, we did, along with a trip to San Miguel de Allende. And now, 8 years later, we live here.

Pride letters on the warehouse, rainbow flags flying, Orioles’ broadcasters eating rainbow cake, sportsbug has the logo in rainbow, fans with rainbow script on their Orioles jerseys. The eternal shame on the team I love is they are the only team in MLB that doesn’t do this. So much missed joy.🌈🌈🌈🌈

Rangers blow a 4-0 lead but fight to a 6-5 win in 10. They steal 4 bases and Evan Carter slides home with the winning run. They go for the series win tomorrow in Charm City. 27-4 w/4+ runs 12-36 w/3- runs Projected record is 75-87.

I don’t have a dog in this hunt, other than practically everyone knows the mayor of NYC. I’m abroad, but it’s pretty evident how much the Democratic establishment is terrified of Mamdani, who is not a sexual predator, and whom, if I were there, would be #1 on my ballot.

Maybe the Rangers’ bats will help cool down the city as the Rangers drop 2 games under .500 and a season high 7 1/2 games out with a 6-0 tail kicking to the Orioles. 38-40 on the season. 26-4 when they score 4, 12-36 when they don’t. On pace for 75-87; .441 since an 8-2 start. Orioles tomorrow.

Rangers grind out a nice 3-2 win in Pittsburgh with Rocker going into the 6th, the bullpen cleaning it up, and Corey Seager driving in the winning run. The splits that define baseball this season: 3 or fewer runs: 12-35 4 or more runs: 26-4 Going for the sweep and .500 tomorrow.

After a 7-3 stretch Texas is now a season high 7 games out. After an 8-2 start, they’ve played .437 baseball for the past 64 games. Yes, baseball can turn magical, but all signs point to this team being well out of it by the trade deadline. They’re just not a good baseball team.
