That was a slightly odd ending for a children's TV show, even if the outcome was clear.
Which means there's a purpose to this story beyond just pure nostalgia...but the fact that J.M. DeMatteis is writing this is probably its best selling point.

My wife recently tried your advice with a difficult panel and it worked out quite well for her. I may have to try this now with the current comic page I am struggling with (I have to draw men in clothes. ;A; )

This is a POV I have long since discarded, but what I can't get over is the idea that the rock snobs who originated it also seemingly celebrated things like Doo-Wop, Elvis, and Motown where professional songwriters generally supplied the material.
