These people have ZERO understanding of how things work.

IF you are employed. IF your employer offers insurance. IF you work enough hours to qualify for your employer-provided insurance. Having Medicaid is a pretty good indication that you don't have other options. Good grief.

Sweet! When my parents lived in rural Michigan deer would come through their property. One day Mom looked out and saw a "rock" in the field. She went out to investigate and realized it was a new fawn all hunkered down waiting for its mother that was nearby.

Nice! I wanted desperately to get one of those. I'm Irish on both sides with some Scottish, French and English tossed in. But my grandparents were born right after landing in the US with their parents. ☹️

In other news, I’m having chips & salsa for dinner. Anyone know how Tapper’s book sales are going?

I was 10 years old. Every Saturday I went to the local 99 cent store to dig through the record bin for the latest releases. I bought "Lola" because I liked the tune and thought the rhyme of cola with Lola was cool. Neither I nor my parents had ANY idea what that song was really about. 😂

Makes one wonder if their support all along was only performative. Then: "We better cough up some money so we can look welcoming, too." Now: "Wait, you're dropping your support for Pride events?? We're outta there too."

Right on!! Anyone know where this was?

This is sickening and heartbreaking.

How frightening for you & your co-workers! I work in public health, and we had to make changes to protect staff from nut jobs during COVID. The building doors were (and now always will be) kept locked & the lobby remodeled so security is the 1st thing people see. Not the art, not the welcome sign. ☹️

I seem to recall another investigation around the same time having to do with an affair between POTUS and an aide who was a consenting adult. No money changed hands, no crime was committed but whoo boy, did the republicans and the media have a heyday.

I can’t with these people. Trump’s campaign was built on the lie that those here illegally were rapists, criminals and gang members. Vanessa & the rest of them who are now crying “but we didn’t know!” must be stupid, naive or both.

I can’t with these people. Trump proclaimed that those here illegally were criminals, rapists, gang members which was patently false. I’m pretty sure if this person voted for

Yesterday was crazy busy. Morning walk. Take stuff to friend's garage sale, set up, price & hang out for a bit. Farmers market for berries for dessert. Make dessert & prep dinner. Bring back stuff that didn't sell. 😒 Friends we haven't seen for months over for dinner. Clean up. Today is a chill day.
