They are classed as "commercial astronauts" and are given Blue Origin wings. They don't get the Astronaut wings that the "real" astronauts get.
I think SpaceX also give wings to their private astronauts -- I don't believe they get the real wings either... (Not 100% sure of that, l though)

One minor issue about deflection -- I believe we might not be able to deflect it enough to avoid earth, but might be able to get to hit a different point. But this could mean not hitting country X and instead hitting country Y. Without precision in changing the orbit, it could be city X and city Y.

52 is fairly late. Well done.
I can get away without reading glasses for most things, but find it better to wear them. If I don't wear them for a while I can get headaches. So I tend to opt to wear them.
