I asked the board whether marta has a ridership or modal share (currently 7%) goal.
Collie Greenwood kept referring me to marta's KPI dashboard, which does not have ridership goals. He appears confident that ridership numbers will go back up once discrepancies are fixed.

They ask whether there should be discussions of rate increases or replacing the 14-year-old $2.50 flat rate with a DC Metro-style rate by distance traveled.

marta is proposing these reduction in positions:
-63% in centralized program management,
-20% in capital program delivery,
-14% in planning,
-16% in centralized program management, and
-24% in research & analysis!
Mind you, nine years into more marta, zero voter-approved projects have been opened!

As I reported for @thexylom.com, there is simply not a single thing marta currently does that is even close to average.
No expansions, bare-bones weekend service, frequent breakdowns, broken fare gates, talent drain and high-profile public safety issues.

Meanwhile, a source tells me that Lawrence Graham, marta's General Superintendent of Light Rail, has left his position in April, a fact confirmed by Graham via his Facebook.
He joins Director of Data Governance Soo Huey Yap as two high-profile AAPI executives to leave the agency in the past month.
