I was hoping BlueSky could be a place for reason and intellectual exchange rather than the other extreme of X. I guess we all prefer to be entertained than challenged to think.

The D party has bigger problems than this. No leader, no vision, no clarity as to where on the “left” spectrum the party wants to be.

Of the 77,269,255 people that voted for Trump, 25 million have total blind faith in him. Another 25 million believe the end justifies his means, the last 27 million didn’t want a disfuncional Democratic Party or Harris to win.

Trump’s picks are merely conduits for executing his will. The more loyal they are the more obedient they will be. Knowing that Trump needs advice, Musk, the smarter of the two, gained his confidence and is now positioned to have unimaginable power. Who is using who?
