I'm gonna go to the caps lock for this: THE ONLY EFFECTIVE WAY TO PREVENT THE EXHAUSTION AND BURNOUT THE FASCISTS ARE RELYING ON YOU TO FALL INTO IS TO LIMIT YOUR EXPOSURE TO HORRORS, KEEP YOUR ACTIVISM CONCRETE AND EFFECTIVE, AND DO OTHER THINGS WITH AS MUCH FERVOR AS YOU DO ACTIVISM.

Hearsay at this point, but what I saw is that 1st degree requires indictment by a grand jury - so it’s possible that could come later.

It shouldn’t matter, but I think it informs the amount of risk you’re taking on: what color is your skin? Mind you they carted off an 80-yr-old white male veteran in DC today - but he was walking under his own power. That said, only you can decide what’s right for you, recognizing there *is* a risk.

It kind of feels like we already passed it. Although I hope we make a good showing tomorrow.

I grieve for my country. I guess that’s not a question. I hope you can sleep some tonight.

Yuck. Reciting scripture at them worked for me in the past. Or one time I remember reciting Portia’s speech from Merchant of Venice.

Also, this isn't just “Ukrainians are insanely good at covertly planning and executing extraordinarily difficult missions" without tipping off Russian intelligence, but also *US* intelligence, because they absolutely couldn't risk the current US admin betraying them to Putin bsky.app/profile/fain...

It’s a lot. You’re doing great. Take 5 seconds (literally) when you need it to self-soothe. Deep breath. Tuck your hair behind your ears while inhaling, even if it’s “too short”. I like that one because nobody can tell you’re doing anything. You got this.

This is where I bought last time. Making this work financially with the shipping cost means ordering a lot of tests and sharing across households. altruan.com/products/flu...

data.wastewaterscan.org still shows what's going around in many communities across the US. Also, you can bulk order triple COVID/RSV/Flu tests from Europe for less than what a COVID-only costs retail in the US.
