Pegasus is actually a bright flashlight that doesn’t just expose the target, it reveals the operator.

I think Shaw has a twofold challenge: 1) Her NWSL clubs haven’t always used her effectively, and 2) the relative strength of the USWNT depth at the 10 slot, which is arguably her best position.
I do think Shaw has a future in the senior team.

The investment piece is the key. The OL Feminine team was in many ways better resourced than other women’s teams in Europe early on, but was under resourced by the time Michele Kang bought it.

I don’t mind this. It seems like both a separate identity (the team is separate from a men’s side, as are all of Kang-owned teams), but closely aligned. The colors & lion/Lyon association remains.
The LC Lionesses won’t get rebranded. I can’t see Spirit going that way because Utah Royals crest. 🤞🏻

Per this (paywalled) Athletic article, the primary kits “carry over for this year,” and then Emily’s comment also discusses the rumored “rebrand.” The incorporation of green training and highlight colors this year in the Shockwave kit may or may not be part of that.
