Isn't this saying that discrimination (on basis of race, etc.) cannot *itself* be the reason for canceling a grant? I think the question is whether POTUS has (perhaps indirectly) unilateral power to cancel a grant... due to the grantee's alleged discrimination.(?)

This chart is going look wild in about 30-40 years.

Free speech has clearly gone too far!

Is he really titled the "Chief Engineer"? That must be fairly embarrassing to all the real engineers at SpaceX.

I'm no Lakers fan, but it started way before Kobe.

I subscribed and supported for a long time. Always thought, even when I disagreed, that on the balance, I valued hearing their voice among many others. Eventually stopped reading. Then stopped supporting. Now I just mourn them.

If the thief is already in the bank, the appropriate step is not to pass another theft statute. Why do you expect them to follow the laws you're going to (probably not) pass if they've not followed the ones you've already passed?

It is really weird that the article reports this as if it is confirmed (or really not even questioned in the first place) that the one driver was unlicensed. Even if the driver is in fact unlicensed, what is their basis for that?

Certainly a quintessential, if not definitive, Trump story, too.

Would like to get away from Messenger. I was always happy with SMS anyways, but not needing someone's phone number was a nice convenience. Thinking about moving to Signal for messaging, as I already have it.

I've tried to scale back my social media usage (to that which actually brings me what I *want* from it in the first place). No FB or IG on my phone. Check those a few times a day at most when I'm on my computer.

Editing: "wasn't far from done" should be "was far from done".

The first quote sounds almost like an Onion piece. "I didn't know Freddie Mercury was gay, oh, and the Amish came out. Were healed!"

The word "clarify" there is hilarious.
