I mean it’s waffling, alright. But he‘s as clear as could be expected these days. MTG would say: Good for Mike Lee! Mike Johnson would say: Censure Tim Walz!

I always thought "arrest" is with a warrant, to get you to jail, to potentially charge you. While "detain" can be just holding you, hand-cuffing you, put you in a van or something for a certain amount of time and without a warrant.

Because he knows exactly what the question implicates and how one half of the country feels about this. And he is perfectly happy about flipping all these people the bird.

Yep. It happens. I remember seeing it and constantly thinking to myself: Nah, I don't buy it. These are no hackers.

I wasn't that serious. It's just frustrating that they continue to favor the party that treats them the worst. Voting Republican wouldn't protect them anyway. The VA is getting destroyed for them, too. And they will be denied services just for looking the wrong way. "I voted for Trump" won't help.

No. I remember it. It’s not good. Almost every main role miscast. You don’t buy for a second that even one of them knows anything about computers.

Now, that you‘re saying it - why didn’t he?! Isn‘t 2025 the year of the anti #metoo bros? (No, they wish.)

No worries. Most veterans are safe. Most veterans vote Republican. And will continue to vote Republican. 👍

In an other universe Jo Cox survived the attack and became leader in 2020 and is PM since 2024. Labour and her government is progressive. And popular.

What we need to do is get very good at spotting this & rejecting the premise from the outset, and then choosing a better frame.
*What is a woman?*
False premise. A woman is not a what. A woman is a who.
Fascists do not want to see people as "whos." That isn't their venue.

„Again and again, I arrived at the same conclusion without fail: no, my eyes did not deceive me and my standards are not too high and I’m not being unfair. That was, hands down, the worst military parade I’ve ever seen.“ charlotteclymer.substack.com/p/the-worst-...

Inzwischen bestätigen Leute, die es besser wissen: Das war kein Ausrutscher. Veteranin Charlotte Clymer: „We're not talking about an unfortunate moment here and there of lone soldiers losing their step. Entire marching elements were awkward, lackadaisical, and, at times, glaringly discombobulated.“
