This would be the largest public lands sell-off in modern U.S. history and it's happening with no hearings, no debate, and no public input. See what public lands would be available for sale: www.wilderness.org/articles/med...

I get 90% of my work through word of mouth. People who don't do what someone is asking for (logo design, copywriting) and know that I do, and they send them my way. That's how I pay my bills. Because someone said "I think Nicole does that, might wanna ask"

I don't know or care about superheroes (sorry) but at first I thought he was coming at this from a Syndrome/Incredibles perspective where the supe is the artist and Lex is the person manufacturing themselves to be a facsimile of the supe out of jealousy. IDK. I'm too tired for analogies.

People like to punch down at folks they know actually give a shit because it's easier than punching up at the people who don't.

Literally just voiced this yesterday, felt like just announcing that I quit. I love your work, it really brightens my timeline but I fully understand that feeling. But I do think a lot of it stems from the fascism and futility of it yeah, and its hard to address it outside of that atm. Hang in there

IDK that area in particular but I'm in San Diego and some of our lands are also up for sale, likely to be turned into ion battery farms because that's been a pretty hot issue here lately, they're just champing at the bit.

Basically you leave your family behind to live a pretty-much-camping life in the desert with no pay to be a zoo animal-esque living artist exhibit. I guess my one experience (which I'm eternally grateful for) was a complete unicorn and that's not typical at all.

I recently received a residency and grant with my room and board also paid for. I thought this was the norm until I looked at other opportunities and was stunned to find it expected you to be on-site for 6 weeks, unpaid, in a shack w/ no bathroom (drive to toilet), to be gawked at by the public.

I've had zero energy to reply to anyone in this thread but this comment right here means so much to me I can't just hit "like", I really appreciate you saying this. I got a super uncharitable comment on my recent bear piece and it really just kicked me down further, but you saying this means a lot.

I’m so sorry. I don’t know what to say other than I’m so angry for you, for all of us losing something due to him, but for you in this moment.

Me neither, these guys were on a mission of violence! They attacked my car twice. And then also other cars in the area

This is my OC. Rodent faces are really dumb and I'm feeling I chose poorly.

Oh thank god, people of sense (and taste)

I'm just imagining the beef tallow making folks extra tasty to sharks. But for real we're edging dangerously close to putting butter on burns again (don't do this, never do this)

So wonderful! Please enjoy these turkeys attacking my car. I love them so much but these two were on a rampage. bsky.app/profile/thor...

I hate this timeline so much, the grief over losing our public lands might be the thing that finally kills me.

I only just read it for the first time last month bc I know only pop culture references and it NEEDS to be delved into, not summarized

My pictures don’t even BEGIN to do them justice, they’re so much more beautiful in person, but I still wanted to share. I’ll be uploading the plaques that give more information as well.

This is so cool! I saw an article about the exhibit and I’m so jelly, I’d love to go but I’m nowhere near it haha! So cool you got to see and experience it
