Or that football is getting more physical. Physicality starts declining once you move past mid 20s, look at the age of Olympians.

Heard they are considering remaining him Tepid Palmer

In fairness, I have a bit of sympathy. Not easy to comment on multiple clubs as deeply as their own fans do.
But not owning up and just deleting the comment is not good form either.

Arsenal are losing Zinchenko, MLS is not a left back, and Kiwior could be on his way out. Hato might be backup to all.
Calafiori had lost more take time to injury than anything else. If he can play, I'm sure he would get game time!

We'll give you 35, and that's being generous!

And arsenal got carded somewhat randomly as well last season!

The concept of "sensible transfer" is a buzzword among analysts.
This is a sensible transfer.

Will fit right in with the rest of the chelsea keepers then?

United will no doubt argue this is the premium to be paid for a pl proven g+a player.
They are probably also pushed into a corner with a dumpster fire of ac season they've had, forced to pay maybe 25-35m over the odds for cunha + mbuemo.

Just yesterday I waa telling someone that Berta has been a flop....

I hope this does happen and it makes you exceptionally livid!

I would also think Alien Julvarez could cover for Ødin Martergaard in a pinch.
(Now you have me dreaming too. So afraid of jinxing it by using real names!)
comment in response to
post
My only reservation is that I don't think Alien Julverez would want to play as back up to Hai Kavertz.
Otherwise I'm totally on board this train!

I dunno man. I count where we have got to so quickly as a success.
Any success counts as a success in my book.

Today I learnt that the FA Cup is no longer available trophy of note.
And now I feel a little sad.
comment in response to

But I'm not here to change your mind if you disagree. I think we've covered a lot of ground that we do see eye to eye on already!
comment in response to

Slightly tongue in cheek point, but if the idea is to either debate intelligently or not at all, 90% of fan discourse wouldn't happen!
More seriously, some things deserve support on being published within the extent law allows. This I believe is one of those.
comment in response to
post
Totally agree!
If club had fined him, I would also support ppl having the right to ask the club if they have done their due diligence!
I'm only asking for debate to be had, and not shut down as some do by saying you don't know so shh.
I don't know, so I ask. I support that for everyone.

Now i can go back to agreeing witn you! I bemoan lack of avenues to have these discussions in.
We should absolutely not be polarized, but legal system exists in extremes because they have a LOT of power to punish - so they need to be absolutely sure.
Not every debates exists under those parameters
comment in response to

Being comfortable with ambiguity means facing up to critiques as well as being patient. :)
Not saying that you are not, just be clear. But having a discussion about something ambiguous is just in the nature of ambiguity. You can't debate something that is settled.

This is the one post that I will disagree. Fandom just doesn't work like that. It's political, economic, just part of life.
I am immensely proud of our clubs roots in supporting players of colour. I think such debates should be encouraged, but agree that we need to figure out how to do it tactfully
comment in response to

Like I said on the other post, I would be happiest if you were right over me!
Think of it as me wailing against my own helplessness at not being able to have discussions in timely manner on things like this. Esp given the relatively short life cycles of players.
comment in response to
post
Sincerely hope you are right on this one over me. And my stance is not one of moral righteousness at all, hence the clarification.
Just wondering how we as fans can be more involved with the decisions our club takes, esp in thorny cases which involve limitations on what we can discuss.

I feel I'm among those less confident of his innocence than others.
Despite that, i agree with you. I'm not saying that consensus automatically needs to exist. More needs to be done to put the case across.
When things are this murky, club will likely use it to safeguard their financial interests.

This players confounds me.
Still don't understand how Fulham let him go to Naples for such a low fee after an initial loan when he looked at home in CL.
Now this. Wonder if there is something about his ownership rights or agent situation causing the low reported transfer fees?
comment in response to
post
I'm not saying the fans not calling for no extension are bad people.
Just acknowledging that fans need to try harder to make themselves feel heard nowadays.
Articles like these in media are small steps in the right direction.
comment in response to
post
Fully agree with the sentiment. I wish arsenal were better than this, but I fear they are not. Football is a reflective of society, and in society such ppl get away repeatedly.
Also fear same applies to us as fans. Can we do more to convince the club, and does that consensus exist among majority?

My ideal window would be:
Zubi, Sesko, back up gk, Eze.
This assumes that we can get timber and white fit, if not ricci.
Given the scale of rebuild required, I can't see (but wouldn't be opposed to) getting another winger.
Hence I'm plumping for cam/lw hybrid in eze.
I hope I'm wrong.

Perfect for Chelsea. Give him a 8 year contract!

So... it would've been cheaper for boehly to outright buy the conference league than to build a team to win it?

Probably would want same + hefty sign on bonus

This one never seems to go away even though I can't remember hearing much from club sources.
Is this noise being created by sane's camp looking for best contact? He must be on a lot of money, and it's his last big chance!

Best center backs in the world!

In that case, I think manchester united fans underestimate the scale of task facing the club.
The problem is not just the squad, it's spread to backroom staff as well. It's too comfortable an environment.
Wholesale reshaping is needed, their fans should be dreading what a reset might bring.

Was a bit surprised with reaction to gabby's miss one on one against ramsdale on that ball over the top.
He did well to bring it down and shield it, think rambo did well to close the angle as quickly as he did.
Gabby was also slightly unlucky that the ball didn't fall better after his touch.
comment in response to

I only saw him sky one of a corner, which was a tough chance in fairness. But I'm sure all the fans who are begging for him would not have been happy if martinelli missed it by as much as isak!
