Extraordinary work. Having never seen an episode of friends, this was profoundly disorienting. Thanks to Dan for throwing himself on this grenade.

You have not known joy until you've owned a South Korean washer and dryer. I get beautiful little jingles several times a week.

About having large amounts of cash in your home.

It's always good to have some cash for things like extended outages of the electrical or ATM grid. But if things really collapse then dollars are apt to be not worth much and we'll all have much bigger problems. I would opt for extra food over extra cash, and if you go for cash don’t post about it.

Yeah, rehearsing music with other people is saving me these days. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Funny, I just got really missed off at MuseScore because their dark pattern flimflammed me into subscribing when I thought I was doing a trial. Now I'm playing with Garageband for just this purpose.

Yes, the intervals are finally happening. That has been a good development as it's making me rely less on rote memory.

I've got an online course for reading bass clef but I feel lost whenever I try to get going on it. At the moment I'm just trying to learn the fretboard.

Don't apologize! I feel stupid that I can figure this out.

I don't even know what lead sheets are. Bass clef would be a good starting point but I'm also trying to learn to sing harmonies so I need treble clef as well.

I understand timing in notation but can't connect notes on the staff to fretboard/keys. I don't need to sight read. I just want to be able to look at a staff and know how to play it.

Held a meeting at my house recently and the person trying to set up a Zoom dial-in was trying to network through my stove.

When you're done with that, watch "Eastern Promises". It's a mirror image of AHoV and it will BLOW YOUR MIND.
