MDA FY26 procurement requests: 🔶 37 THAADs 🔶12 SM-3 IIAs According to recent work by @slair.bsky.social the US Army might have used 39ish THAADs in defense of Israel. So this figure might count for the replacements and gives some credibility to Sam's figures.

The GBU-57 MOP inventory/figures stuff is a bit overblown. Prior production rate was 2/month, or 24 a year. They were working on expanding McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (completed in July 2024) to be able to produce fillings for 6-8 bombs a month (72 to 96/y).

So 14 MOPs used and only 6 confirmed hits against Fordow. That would mean 8 expended on Natanz which makes sense as it poses a size problem vs Fordow.

CJCS in briefing right now: The operation to strike Iran last night was "Operation Midnight Hammer" 7 B-2s struck targets and dropped 14 MOPs. The B-2 flights headed West were deception. The actual strike package came across the Atlantic.

Supposedly IAF did a bunch of strikes earlier today and yesterday focused on hampering Iran's ability to generate BM raids (by striking launchers). The most recent wave launched from Iran compromised about 10~ BMs. While early, it seems that the IAF's efforts might have been successful.

The TPY-2 was facing Yemen in Dec, so they would have to turn it more recently so It could handle Iranian threats. THAAD has spent much of its time in Israel taking down Houthi BMs prior to the current events.
