The Costco CEO is going to be very upset at that price point. It had seemed they were upset at the idea of $2, there’s a chance you were bamboozled by a shifty employee. I’d check that receipt. 😉

I feel like using NBA referees, the L2M, and off-site review as the bar for what WNBA officiating wants to get to is kinda like a homeless person wishing for suicide instead of a house.

Cedric Coward. But maybe not at 11, maybe a a trade happens and something 15-20 gets swapped for 11 and there’s other players involved or something. You know, offseason stuff.
But get me Cedric Coward.

This is usually how I feel when the Blazers are done for the season, but I stayed with it this year after the la*ers lost in the first round and kept going after the Celtics and warriors lost in the second. One way or another they were going to give me something I didn’t actually hate. Lol

I’ve heard it a few times now, and I’m really warming up to it. Might be too spendy, but they need more crazy. I like it.

The idea of punting at this stage of the process is something only the most seasoned of terrible GM’s could accomplish. Billy King level stuff. Pat Riley the last couple of years kinda awful.

What about a trade down? I like Cedric Coward, 11 seems high, maybe move down a bit and pick up a second or two in the future and grab Coward in the 15-20 range?

They kinda looped around to it a couple times for different reasons, too. A lot of fans probably wouldn’t like it, but if we can deal with extending Chauncey we can deal with anything.
We’re a resilient bunch.

I’d definitely agree with Grant. That didn’t necessarily seem like a season ender, but Williams and Ayton seemed like legitimate injuries.

Yeah, they were playing 40 minutes a game in October and November when they were losing by 60.
Didn’t mean Chauncey didn’t want to play them after the all-star break, they were hurt.

I understand the lack of talent development and playing time being the biggest factor for Thibs losing his job, but you can argue Chauncey has done almost the same thing with exponentially worse results. Shortening up rotations and playing vets over younger guys makes sense when you’re in the ECF.

This reminded me a lot (as a UofO fan) of the, “Tez Johnson and Bo Nix are brothers!!!” narrative a couple years ago. Five times a game, every game, you’d hear someone say that sentence. Drove me crazy.

Absolutely agree. And I think that Edwards is still growing and improving, but he still disappears at an alarming rate. I wonder if he can really take that next step and become a true superstar.

I think they’re kinda what they are. Similar to what Portland was in the Dame/Cj era. They can win, they can make the conference finals, but their best players aren’t good enough to get them to the finals or win a championship. They will probably make moves around the edges and get worse.

I really appreciate this article, Mookie. I’ve loved watching MMA for close to 30 years, and I’ve almost completely given it up in the last 2-3. It’s not interesting, and probably more importantly it’s not very good. And I cant see a path for it ever getting better, either. ☹️

Lottery is for people that are not as good at poker as I am, and I’m really not sure what establishment has the best sale going on blazers. I should probably find out though, need one for my next high stakes poker tournament.

Darius Miles has been in jail for almost two and a half years and is still awaiting trial.
Brandon Miller averaged 18/4/3 and shot the three at a 37% clip on 8 attempts a game in two seasons with the Hornets.
